Event Structure
The Forum is structured into two consecutive mornings, on the 28th and 29th of May, with two sessions (one per topic) each.
This year, we’re returning to an exclusively in-person format in order to extend the reach of the Forum into the city. The events will be held in three different venues: the Biscay COAVN Headquarters, the Guggenheim Museum Bilbao Auditorium, and the Philharmonic Society of Bilbao.
At the start of the Forum, on May 28, an event thanking our sponsors will be held.
The two sessions on the first day, ENERGY and CLIMATE, will start with a 40-minute keynote speech followed by several 20-minute speeches. At the end of each topic-session, there will be a round table with speakers on the selected topic. These two sessions will be held at the Biscay COAVN Headquarters.
The two sessions on the second day, URBAN RENEWAL and MOBILITY, will be made up of several 20-minute speeches. At the end of each topic-session, there will be a round table with speakers on the selected topic. These two sessions will be held at the Guggenheim Museum Bilbao Auditorium.
To finish the Forum, on May 29th, the 2026 BIA Award ceremony, recognizing architect Tatiana Bilbao, will be held at the Bilbao Philharmonic Society.
