Divided into four blocks, it will link up with the last theme of the “New Spaces of Use and Fairness” session. A video will then be shown on PEZESTUDIO’s work presented by the architect MAÉ DURANT VIDAL, and the panel will then return to the first theme of the day, “Recovery Funds”. The last block will focus on the delegates’ questions.
It will be moderated by GORKA CUBES SAN SALVADOR DEL VALLE, architect, and the architect IDOIA LEGARRETA will join the speakers. The last block will focus on the delegates’ questions.
What would a city that has been co-designed by its inhabitants be like? What would a city that looks after people and their environment be like?
BIOTIC CITY is Pezestudio’s work framework, a team of women architects and designers. They seek to embark on a far-reaching, permanent and real transformation of the way in which today’s city is designed and constructed, towards MORE SUSTAINABLE, FAIRER, INCLUSIVE AND INNOVATIVE city models.
That transformation would not be possible if it did not go hand-in-hand with new practices, imaginaries, ways of life where citizens and their surroundings are at the heart of the processes.
The open and collaborative design creative processes are powerful mediation, transformation and learning tools in that living space, where life at all levels is at the centre.
